Celebrate America with the City of Port St. Lucie at its annual Freedomfest at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, 9221 SE Event Center Place!
This traditional, patriotic salute is FREE and open to the public. Make sure to bring your lawn chair!
This year, it's all about that tropical vibes when the Event Center transforms into an island paradise! Dig out those Hawaiian shirts and big straw hats as you groove to the sweet sounds of the Landsharks Band from 5-9 p.m.! The Landsharks are a Jimmy Buffett tribute band but also perform songs from the Beach Boys, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Patti Labelle and Alan Jackson.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. A show-stopping fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m., weather permitting. Parking and admission are always free!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
4-10 p.m.: Free laser tag. Open to all ages!
5-9 p.m.: The Landsharks Band
6 p.m.: Hot dog-eating contest: Participants will eat as many hotdogs and buns as possible in 5 minutes. The winner will receive a trophy and will be crowned king or queen of hotdogs.
9 p.m.: Fireworks (weather permitting)
The pyrotechnics will be choreographed simultaneously to music, broadcast live on B94.7 Fresh Country and 93.7 GYL Today's Best Music.

The MIDFLORIDA Event Center presents the Fourth of July Ultimate Experience, the greatest VIP Independence Day celebration on the Treasure Coast!
Stay cool in the Emerald Ballroom while enjoying cocktails, a concert from The Party Dogs and a Blazin' BBQ Buffet. There's fun for the entire family in the Kids Zone, featuring face painting, fairy hair and much more! There's a signature cocktail, Stars & Stripes Spritz and a full-service cash bar. The buffet includes garden salad, barbecue pulled chicken, pulled mojo pork, sliced Hawaiian rolls, Italian pasta salad, brown sugar baked beans, sliced watermelon and a vegan/vegetarian option, followed by a dessert bar with ice cream and brownie sundaes. Drink stations feature southern sweet tea, lemonade, water and coffee.
