Freedom Park Planting Day

Come join us for a fun-filled morning of planting native perennials at Freedom Park. Native perennials are an excellent source of food and habitat for local wildlife, inlcuding pollinators likes bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Other benefits of native plants include incrased biodiversity, less watering, improved soil health, erosion control, and more.

Don't forget to bring your gardening gloves, shovels (if you have them), and a positive attitude. We'll provide the plants and tools!

To join us for Freedom Park Planting Day, simply show up at the park on the event day. No need to RSVP – just come ready to dig in!
