Freedom Holds the Body: In Music & Movement (July 4th Concert)
About this Event
Black Mythology Project will bring artists and community together for an immersive concert experience hosted within an art exhibit at Nashville's Global Education Center. This July 4th, as America celebrates its 250th birthday, we choose to celebrate the people (artists, advocates, and ancestors) who have have built and continue to re-build our culture. Come for the music, games, art exhibit, and a sneak peek at Black Mythology Project’s upcoming art book (Mega-Zine) titled Take off the Mask!
Let's celebrate ourselves and our neighbors. Let's celebrate the community who have held us together the mamy times we've fallen apart. Here we have the ability to decide what our freedom means to us and how we will use our bodies, our celebration, our joy, for our collective liberation. Come Home.
