Freedom From Want, Freedom From Fear! Labor Day Rally

On Labor Day, a broad coalition of community organizations including Indivisible SF, NARFE, and 50501SF will host a rally and mobilization at the Phillip Burton Federal Building. Drawing inspiration from historic calls for economic and personal security, participants will demand economic justice and stand firmly against rising authoritarianism. Speakers -representatives from Indivisible SF, NARFE, student organizers and other allies- will address the critical intersections of workers' rights, stable housing, and democratic freedoms, while highlighting the need for living-wage jobs and protections against ICE. To empower the next generation, the League of Women Voters (LWV) will host an on-site youth voter registration drive during the event.
