A guided movement meditation and freestyle dance experience for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color)
About this Event

Merge & Emerge was created to help you use your body as a tool for healing, and expand your capacity for joy, presence and liberation.

It's a space for authentic self-expression, where we use movement to release trapped emotions, tap into intuition, and work through everything you're experiencing in your mind and body.
This 90-minute session will take you on a journey that begins with a warm-up and brief guided movement practice, and then builds into freestyle dance to music curated & played live by a DJ.
You can dance with partners or by yourself; you can move slowly or run around the space.
There are no expectations for how you’re supposed to look — you are free to do whatever you want to do, without judgement.
We wind down with a few moments of introspection and spiritual stillness, and then end with a closing circle where folks can reflect and share about their experience.
