Hello campers! freeCodeCamp London meetups are back!! ???

We're excited to be organising in-person freeCodeCamp meetups again to help everyone learn to code for free!

The next meetup will be at Wimbletech, an affordable co-working and private office space and network for locals and communities in 10 London locations. We're very grateful to them for hosting us! We're also thankful to our new event sponsor, Othership, a platform to work the Other way with flexible workspaces, weekly events, member benefits & a welcoming community.

Join us from 6pm in Wimbledon to learn more about freeCodeCamp, continue your coding study and meet new and familiar faces. Tell us what you're studying or working on and hopefully we can help each other! Light refreshments will be provided.

Afterwards, we'll continue networking at one of the many bars near by.

Just like the freeCodeCamp platform, attendance to this meetup is always free. The room has a capacity of around 20 people. Generally about half of people who sign up drop out, so there will be an attendee limit to 40. Please be aware that this may mean if you arrive much later than 6:00 pm we could be full so do cancel your ticket if you cannot make it.

Venue Accessibility

There are a set of stairs to get to the space. Unfortunately, the lift to the space is only in use until 6pm from the Library entrance, and so will be out of use on the day.

How to find us

The venue is Wimbletech (behind the Wimbledon library) and is a 1 minute walk from Wimbledon station (20 mins on mainline train from Waterloo Station, District, Thameslink). Please take the entrance on Compton Road (Wimbletech Zone 2) and not the library entrance.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

Event will be indoors. Under current England COVID-19 guidelines, we're expecting everyone to self-test and avoid attendance if they've tested positive for COVID-19. The venue will have hand sanitizers.
