Why are we holding this event and why do people care about Britney and this cause so much?

While we are here to Celebrate Britney’s imminent freedom, there is a reason why millions have recently spoken on Britney so much lately. This isn’t just about some pop icon that people love, and yes while we do love her, there is so much more that many don’t know regarding the tragic and horrific abuse that she was under by the hands of her father, entire management and allowed by the court system for 13 years. We come together at these rallies to talk about it, chant about it and meet the following goals.

-To educate people on what has happened to Britney over the last decade.

-To raise awareness on other conservatorship and Guardianship abuse cases.

- To fight for Women to have the ability to choose what they want do with their body.

-To fight for reproduction rights.

-To fight against forced labor and human trafficking.

-To fight for Civil liberties for all people with disabilities and mental illness.

-To raise awareness against Mental Health stigma.

-To get the attention of congress on guardianship laws, to voice for reform and abolishment. #FreeBritney
