Free Zumba in Fort Tryon Park

Zumba is a dance-based fitness class that emphasizes cardio and high-energy movements. Join certified Zumba instructors twice a week for fun, exhilarating exercise in the fresh air. All are welcome—bring comfortable clothes and a full water bottle. Please read below for location information.

Alejandra began teaching Zumba and Dance Fitness in 2018 after completing the Shape Up NYC Training Program. Each of her Zumba classes is a trip around the world-on the dance floor! Alejandra loves sharing her passion for music, dance, walking, and the outdoors with her participants.

Tuesday evening Zumba takes place on the volleyball courts in Fort Tryon Park.

Exit the A train at Margaret Corbin Circle, then turn left out of the subway station and go down the stairs to the volleyball court.

Take the M4 or M98 to Fort Washington Ave/Cabrini Blvd. Go down the stairs as if going to the subway, then go down the next set of stairs to the volleyball courts.

Nearest parking lot: Cafe lot on Margaret Corbin Drive in Fort Tryon Park.

Samantha has been a certified Zumba instructor since 2017. Zumba helped her become more confident, comfortable, and content with herself, and that's exactly what she hopes it will teach you. From low to high intensity, you’ll definitely feel the burn and with her upbeat and utmost energy, you’ll definitely feel the vibe. Every class she teaches feels like a party and you’ll leave wanting more!

Saturday morning Zumba takes place inside Anne Loftus Playground in front of the park building.

A train to Dyckman Ave.

Bx7/M100 bus to Broadway/Dyckman or Broadway/Riverside

M4 bus to Met Cloisters, then walk down long staircase, which brings you to the back gate of Anne Loftus.
