Free Yoga Day is a monthly open-doors event at Isha Yoga Center LA. On this day, we offer a variety of free sessions dedicated to educating and empowering each individual to take charge of their wellbeing.

Free Yoga Day Schedule:

9:00 - 9:45 AM - Introduction to Inner Engineering
No age restriction
This free introductory talk offers an introduction to what is Inner Engineering, what are its benefits and how can you bring it into your life. This 1-hour session offered by an Isha Yoga instructor will delve into the science of Inner Engineering, a technology for wellbeing derived from the science of Yoga, and answer any questions you may have.

10:00 - 11:15 AM - Yoga For Success
Ages 12+, please bring your own mat
Simple but potent yoga practices to foster success in all aspects of life and Chit Shakti (means ‘Power to Create’) Meditation for Success.

11:45 AM - 12:30 PM - AUMkar Meditation
Ages 7+
The sound AUM is the very root of physical creation. Daily utterance of AUM fosters balance and stability in your body and mind.

12:45 - 1:30 PM - Healthy Cooking Class
No age restriction
In this practical, fun and interactive session, explore food from a yogic perspective, foster awareness of what you put in your body, and learn about amazing foods that support a healthy body and stable mind.

1:45 - 2:30 PM - Introduction to Hatha Yoga
No age restriction
This free introductory talk offers an introduction to classical Hatha Yoga as a holistic process of achieving mastery over the body and mind, leading to a state of health, joy, and bliss.

2:45 - 3:45 PM - Meditation for Mental Health
Ages 12+
This session offers simple yet powerful practices to improve your mental health and to bring you clarity, joy and wellbeing.
