Our Yoga Teacher Training Explained:It’s that feeling that you could teach a better class than the one you might be taking. It’s that sense that knowing more about anatomy and kinesiology can enhance your own practice. It’s the understanding that it’s not the perfection of the pose; it’s the purpose of the pose.
This is why people are drawn to the yoga teacher training at Rishi’s Community Yoga.
We teach teachers to appreciate yoga as therapy, not competition. We teach that all poses, with modifications or props, can be accessible to older bodies. We teach the “why” and not just the “how.”
If you want to deepen your understanding of yoga for your own practice or to train as a teacher, you're invited to join us for this FREE Class beginning with Asana and Yoga Nidra followed by a YTT-200 Q&A.
Space is limited, and advanced registration is required to attend.
Our YTT program consists of:
Nine weekends of lead instructor contact hours
Student teaching
Practicums
Home study
It leads to:
200-hour Certification.
