Free Yoga Class

Join the Peace and Justice Institute for a free, all-levels, 45 minute, community outdoor yoga class happening during our annual Peace Day in the Park event. Please bring a mat or towel to practice on and a bottle of water.

The class will take place by the water feature in the middle of Central Park, along Park Avenue, in Winter Park.

The class will be led by certified yoga instructor Katie DeAscanis who teaches at the Center for Wellbeing and Health in Winter Park and Warrior One Yoga and Fitness in Orlando.

This event is part of Peace Day in the Park

F ollowing 9 a.m. yoga we invite participants to attend Peace Day. Join us for free activities for all ages including live musical performances, children’s storytelling, a public art project, and of course, our annual Human Peace Sign photograph. Register separately for Peace Day here.
