How to Make Your 2025 Healthy "To-Don't" List:
Many of us start out each year with a "To-do list" of healthy behaviors for the new year. Whether it's forming a new good habit–starting an exercise program or getting better sleep, for example–or quitting a bad one–quitting junk food, perhaps–we start out with the best of intentions. But research shows that most of these well-intentioned efforts will have failed by mid January. Why?
In order to add new habits, it's often necessary to confront unskilled and unhelpful old habits–things like zoning out on the internet, mindless snacking, procrastinating and the like. So here's where it comes in handy to establish a "To-Don't list"!
In this active workshop, we'll take a deep dive into some of the habits and behaviours that are holding you back from being productive or negatively impacting your health goals.
We'll identify the chronic actions, thought patterns, or obstacles that bring you little to no value. Instead, let's cultivate the tools of awareness, positive reinforcement, planning, leverage, and probability that can make it possible to check off items on your "To-Don't list" -- for good.
Reservations are highly recommended but not necessary.

In addtion to afternoon wellness workshops, we offer film, music, art, dance and storytelling on select Tuesday evenings throughout the year.

Lynn Crimando, MA, C-IA YT serves as a lead teacher and teaching mentor for YogaUOnline's Wellness Educator and Advanced Teacher Training Programs. She is a yoga teacher, board-certified Health and Wellness Coach, and C-IAYT Yoga Therapist. Her NASM certifications include Certified Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Balance Training. In addition, Lynn is a Buteyko Breathing Practitioner and a mentor in Robin Rothenberg's Restore Your Prana training. She maintains a private Yoga Therapy and Health Coaching practice in New York City and teaches classes throughout the city on behalf of Health Advocates for Older People.
