Hands-on training includes wiring of switches, GFCI receptacles, duplex receptacles, panels, 3-way and 4-way switches, and bending EMT and rigid conduit. At the end of the week, students apply the skills they learned by individually assembling and wiring a lamp with light switch, outlets, and USB receptacles.
Women in the Trades trainings are tailored specifically for women pursuing non-traditional careers in the skills trades.
