About this Event
Welcome to the Free Wild Edible and Medicinal Plant Walk event! Join us on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 AM for a fun and educational experience at El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach. Learn about the various plants that grow in the wild and their medicinal properties. This class is a great opportunity to connect with nature and discover the wonders of the natural world. Don't miss out on this exciting adventure all of what nature has to offer us.
We will meet at the entrance of the nature center. This trail is very short so this class will only be about 45 minutes to an hour. We will discuss about 15 wild edibles that are easily found all over Long Beach and the surrounding cities. Whether you are new to foraging or you have some experience, this is a fun and easy class for all skill levels.
The park charges $8 for parking. If you are up for a bit of a walk, there is free parking at the library down the hill. We hope to see you there!
