International Student new to Glasgow? Welcome!
Join us for a free welcome meal and an evening of Scottish culture (scenery, music and ceilidh dancing). Vegetarian options available.
The event is hosted by local volunteers from Strathclyde-Caledonian Christian Union and is part of the International Welcome 2026, organised by Friends International Glasgow. It is a social event open to all international students in Glasgow. People of all faiths (and none) are welcome.

The International Welcome 2026 is organised by Friends International Glasgow with the aim to welcome international students from all over the world to Glasgow. All events are free social events with the aim of welcoming students to the city, sharing culture, food and tips about living in Glasgow. People of all faiths (and none) are welcome.
