About this Event

Scale modeling is an incredible craft, but let’s be honest—building at your own workbench at home can get pretty lonely. It’s a blast to perfect a kit, but it’s even better when you have a room full of friends who actually appreciate the hours you put into your work. Gunpla and Chill Build Nights is a 2-day weekly social meetup designed to bring New York City's Gunpla community together under one roof.

We've expanded our FREE Weekly events to Thursday & Fridays from 6:30pm-9:30pm in Sunset Park. During which our studio transforms into a dedicated, laid-back space to step away from your solo workbench, meet new friends, swap building techniques, and talk shop with people who share your absolute obsession with plastic models.

What you'll get?

(Includes guided instruction and a curated build playlist to keep you focused.)

Connect with the Local Scene: Trade tips on custom color recipes, show off your latest custom weathering effects, or get feedback on a tricky fit from a professional commission modeler and fellow builders.

A High-End Social Setup: Build at a spacious station under professional, high-CRI task lighting with chill music, great vibes, and full access to our heavy-duty studio ventilation if you need to use an airbrush bay.

Make New Friends: Whether you want to talk classic 1980s retro mecha designs, debate the best Gundam series (Gundam Seed), or just chat while breaking down your backlog, you’ll be surrounded by people who speak your exact language.

What to Bring?

• Your Current Project: Pack up whatever Gundam kit is currently sitting on your desk.
• Your Go-To Hand Tools: Bring your favorite nippers, files, and scribing tools that you know and love. (Forgot something? Don't worry, our studio tool library is available if you need a quick backup).

Whether you're looking to break out of a creative builder's block, want a dedicated block of time to finally crush your backlog, or are just looking to connect with a great group of local hobbyists, pull up a chair this Thursday.
