It’s that time of year again! Volunteers…WE NEED YOU!🌿✨ Free Weekend Getaway = Volunteer Fun! ✨🌿
The Mason House Inn (est. 1846!) is hosting our 3rd Biannual Volunteer Work Weekend — and YOU’RE invited! 💪🏡

🛏️ Where: Mason House Inn, Bentonsport, IA
💸 Cost: FREE stay + Saturday breakfast & lunch
The Deal:
Trade a little elbow grease for a free weekend at our historic inn! We’ll be sprucing up the grounds with yard work, cleanup, and landscaping so the outside shines as bright as the inside. Unfortunately this years summer rain was hard on us and areas that were cleared before, need cleaned up again.
What to Bring:
Rakes, shovels, gloves, chainsaws (if you’ve got one), snips, and your best “let’s do this” attitude. We are limited on equipment. Heavy equipment welcome, please contact us if you have it!
🎶 Music, laughter, and riverside relaxation included.
Schedule:
- Friday: Arrive + settle in
- Saturday: Big workday 9–5 (breakfast & lunch provided) + relax and have a drink by the fire pit afterwards. BYOB!
- Sunday: Optional light work, then relax before heading home (meals on your own)
Spots are limited! Message us to reserve your room (we’ll match rooms to group sizes). If we fill up, we’ll add another weekend!
