About this Event
At Watershed Stories, you can expect a relaxed, lively session where science meets personal memory and imagination.
You’ll hear vivid soundscapes and discover examples of how stories bring local rivers, creeks, and storm drains to life, then dive into guided prompts to spark your own memories of storms, flooding, favorite swimming holes, or quiet spots by the water. Through simple, hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how to shape those moments into short, powerful stories you can share—with neighbors, students, or community groups—to deepen our collective connection to place and inspire real care for the waters that sustain us.
