About this Event
Curious about VEX IQ Robotics Competition? Interested in seeing what students can accomplish through hands-on robotics training?
Join us for our VEX IQ Robotics Open House, held during the final hour of our VEX IQ Summer Camp.
During the open house, camp participants will demonstrate the robots, driving skills, coding and competition challenges they have worked on throughout the week. Visiting families can watch the demonstrations, meet our coaches and students, and learn more about opportunities to join a VEX IQ competition team.

What You’ll See
Our VEX IQ camp students will demonstrate:
- Robots they built and improved during the camp
- Robot driving and control
- Competition-style challenges
- Coding and autonomous robot functions
- Teamwork and problem-solving
- Different robot designs and strategies
Families will also have the opportunity to:
- See VEX IQ robots in action
- Learn how VEX IQ competitions work
- Meet coaches and current students
- Ask questions about training and competitions
- Learn about our 2026–2027 VEX IQ team recruitment
- Explore whether competitive robotics is a good fit for your child
Who Should Attend?
Families with children ages 7–14 who are interested in:
- Robotics and engineering
- Building and designing
- Coding
- Problem solving
- Competitive robotics
- Joining a VEX IQ team
No previous VEX IQ or robotics experience is required.
Interested in Joining a Team?
We are currently recruiting students for our 2026–2027 VEX IQ competition teams.
The open house gives both parents and students a chance to see a real VEX IQ learning environment before deciding whether they would like to participate.
Parents/guardians should remain with their children during the open house.
Come watch our students demonstrate what they built, programmed and learned — and discover the world of VEX IQ competitive robotics.
