Free urban sketching tour || help me with my thesis

Whether you are slow traveling right now, have taken your time in previous travels or simply like the idea: you're welcome to join in on this fun session. :)

What's the plan?

I am hosting a free urban sketching tour to connect with the city in a different way. Depending on the weather (classic Dutch), we will go into the city center or a café to sketch some of the beautiful sights Dutch cities have to offer. Don't worry about materials: I'll bring a variety of fun sketching materials to play around with.

What's that about helping with your thesis?

Afterwards/during the sketching session, I would like to do a simple interview with a couple of people. This is for my graduation thesis for the master Design for Interaction at the TU Delft. My thesis focuses on how people who (want to) take it slow when traveling approach navigation. I am curious to learn more about your travel habits, pro tips, and things that maybe ended up working not that well. Every bit of your travel story would help me a lot with my thesis!

Hoi hoi!

Of je nou nu aan het slow travelen bent, in het verleden wel een rustig je tijd hebt genomen met het reizen of simpelweg het idee je wel aanspreekt: je bent hartstikke welkom om mee te doen met deze leuke sessie. :)

Wat is het plan?

Ik organiseer een gratis urban sketching tour om de stad in een nieuw licht te bekijken. Afhankelijk van het weer (typisch Nederlands), gaan we wandelen door de binnenstad of naar een café om de Nederlandse omgevingen om ons heen te schetsen. Geen zorgen over materiaal: ik neem een hoop verschillende dingen mee om mee te experimenteren.

Hoe bedoel je, helpen met je thesis?

Na/gedurende de sessie zou ik graag een kort interview van ongeveer 30 minuten willen houden met een aantal mensen. Dit is voor mijn afstudeeronderzoek voor de master Design for Interaction aan de TU Delft. Mijn thesis richt zich op hoe mensen navigatie aanpakken die graag hun tijd (willen) nemen wanneer ze reizen. Ik wil graag meer leren over bijvoorbeeld je reisgewoonten, pro-tips en de dingen die toch niet bleken te werken. Elk stukje over je verhaal helpt heel veel voor mijn thesis!

Ik vind het echt super leuk om lekker te schetsen en verhalen te delen, dus ik hoop dat je net zo enthousiast bent als ik om deel te nemen aan deze activiteit!
