FREE URBAN SKETCHING WITH CAROL
10am-12pm
Urban Sketching Olathe Group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. This newly formed free group, sponsored by OVA, will meet at the Gallery at 10 AM to do a quick discussion of some basic Plein Air techniques. Those experienced outdoor artists can head for the streets with a bottle of water, a map of downtown's small parks and sculpture sites as well as its historic buildings. We will have a bunch of Olathe Art Gallery business cards to hand out to any curious pedestrians. Downtown Olathe provides benches and tables on the sidewalks, and trees on the streets for shade. The perfect urban sketching venue.
