FREE Tree Planting And Nature Activities For Adults & Families

Thanks to funding received from The National Lottery, and in partnership with Eadha Enterprises, we are are excited to deliver this FREE tree-planting and nature session for people to relax and enjoy some nature time in Milgarholm Park, Irvine.

Good for the people and the planet too!

As well as tree-planting, there will be some activities to explore biodiversity, mapping, different local tree / animal species, lots of opportunities for nature play and exploration, some simple nature crafts, hammocks, hopefully a few rope swings... :D and we will make a fire for the group to toast some marshmallows and make yummy s'mores around 1 - 2pm.

You can join in anytime between 11am & 4pm. Feel free to come for the full session or drop in.

Please note if you are taking part in tree planting, we will have 2 sessions running: 12 - 1:30pm and 2 - 3:30pm (feel free to attend one or both of these).

This event is open to all, with plenty of tickets available to accomodate everyone who wishes to attend. Please book your tickets in advance (where possible) so we have an idea of expected numbers. Bookings can be made directly at our website: https://woodlandwakeup.org/bookings/

You are also welcome to bring a picnic. If doing so, please limit single-use plastic and make sure any rubbish is taken home with you.
