We are conducting its first ever pilot Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response, Hazardous Materials Train the Trainer (HH-TTT) course. This course was made possible through funding provided by the U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration PHMSA Hazardous Materials Grant 693JK32240008HMI.

This program is designed for instructor’s who are seeking professional instructor certification to train Hazmat employees and employers. This program is equipped with a comprehensive training curriculum that is uniquely designed to facilitate instructor’s in-house presentations. The Train the Trainer Course combines the eight-hour Department of Transportation (DOT) Hazmat course and twenty-four-hour Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Course into one course.

The course is three days in length consists of nine training modules that include checks on learning questions and practical exercises that reinforce classroom instruction. This course is structured to provide Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response Course Instructors with the resources they need to train other instructors, so they can train their employees and employers on Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response and Hazardous Materials Awareness. This course will save employers thousands of dollars and make it possible for them to use employees who receive certification through this training to conduct on-site training to other employees which will eliminate the need to hire instructors to conduct training at their facilities.

This training is only for selected participants that has the writing approval of Dr. Jeannette Vázquez that evaluates the participant credentials. The space is not transferable to another participant. It is mandatory the full participation the three days.
