Join us for a completely FREE night out at the Dale Etheridge Planetarium at the College of Southern Nevada's East Cheyenne campus. There will be FREE stargazing and FREE planetarium shows at 6 PM, 7 PM, and 8 PM. Must register here for free planetarium show tickets due to limited space:https://csnplanetarium.square.site/special-events
No need to register for FREE stargazing in the planetarium parking lot with the Las Vegas Astronomical Society from 7 PM to 12:30 AM. The entire total lunar eclipse will be visible everywhere in Las Vegas (weather permitting).

6:00 PM - First Planetarium Show / Telescope Volunteer Setup
6:47 PM - Sunset
7:00 PM - Planetary stargazing begins (Mars, Jupiter, Venus, & Mercury)
8:57 PM - Penumbral Eclipse begins (Moon enters faint part of Earth's shadow, slight darkening)
10:09 PM - Partial Lunar Eclipse Begins (Moon enters dark part of Earth's shadow, noticeable darkening)
11:26 PM - Total Lunar Eclipse Begins (Dark red "Blood Moon" completely inside dark part of Earth's shadow)
11:58 PM - Maximum Eclipse (midway point of totality)
12:31 PM - Total Lunar Eclipse Ends (Moon leaving dark part of Earth's shadow)
