Caltrans and the City of Redding Solid Waste Department are partnering to pay for Shasta County residents to dump their tires for free at the Redding Transfer Station, located at 2255 Abernathy Lane in Redding, for the entire month of October! Make sure to properly secure your load prior to transport. Passenger tires (from cars) and light truck tires (must have LT symbol) will be accepted.
Dump your car and light truck tires for FREE during the month of October. Limit 9 tires per trip.
Tires excluded from event:
- No commercial
- No tractor/agriculture
- No motorcycle
- No lawnmower
Event is restricted to Shasta County residents and cities of Shasta County and excluded business and farm waste. Free Dump Day is a partnership with the City of Redding Solid Waste Department and Caltrans' Clean California.
