Admission: Free admission to the exhibitions
We are pleased to announce late-opening hours and free admission to KW Institute for contemporary Art on one Thursday each month, from 16:00–21:00! Explore our current exhibitions as part of the 'Kyiv Biennial – A Bird That Cannot Land'.
KW is an exhibition space in Berlin Mitte. Our mission is to engage with the central questions of our time through the production, presentation, and discussion of art. Without a permanent collection, flexibility and openness lie at the heart of what makes KW special, as well as our ability to create dynamic and timely, changing programming that resonates with our times.
The Kyiv Biennial, a nomadic and international project, will celebrate its eleventh anniversary in 2026 with exhibitions and events in several European cities. This year, under the title 'A Bird That Cannot Land', art, sound, and discourse will be presented throughout the KW building in Berlin. In addition to works by transnational artists, there will also be an extensive live program that gives visibility and a voice to members of Berlin’s diaspora communities.
Come by – see you at KW!
