Anything comfortable that allows you to move freely. Dance shoes is optional.

ABOUT TANGO

Tango is a dance coming from the meeting of ancient movement and music traditions, evolving through time and different cultural contexts. It is said that it was born in Rio de la Plata, Argentina, but it finds its origins in Africans rhythms, Gauchos ritual fights (Argentinian horsemen), and European folkloric dances.
Today, people all over the world find in tango an escape from the complexity of our modern world, a meeting with themselves, a familiar social environment, and a moment to simply forget about everything else. At Connect With Joy, we offer you a space to (re)discover yourself in a timeless moment, one step at a time.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS

After teaching in various dance schools in Gothenburg, Elodie founded ✨Connect With Joy✨ in 2019. In addition to her tango expertise, Elodie is a Gyrokinesis and Pilates instructor. With a deep understanding of the connection between emotion, body awareness and movement, Elodie is passionate about creating a meaningful dance experience for her students. She believes in exploring tango through contact and presence, making every dance step a journey in both soul and heart.
Love has jazz in his soul and tango in his body, making him a unique talent with a lifelong career dedicated to tango teaching and music pedagogy. You might have seen him on TV, sharing his musical talents with Arvingarna 😉. Love is also the band leader and woodwind signature of the Tango orchestra ✨Tangótica✨. His warmth and multi-faceted talents create a special experience for every participant in his tango classes.
Elodie and Love´s teaching style is rooted in structure, attention to detail, and a good dose of humour. Get ready to laugh, learn, and unleash your creativity with Elodie and Love!
