Embark on a fascinating journey through time with archaeologist Andy Chapman at Stanwick Lakes, without leaving the Visitor Centre! Explore the rich history of the people who established roots here, spanning from Neolithic eras to the existence of a Medieval hamlet!An impressive collection of treasures unearthed on-site now allows us to recount the narrative of human activity within this valley over millennia. This experience requires no walking; instead, Andy will employ photographs and maps to depict the settlements uncovered during the 1980s archaeological excavations in this one-hour talk.
