This is a FREE event in which Suzuki students and teachers are invited to bring their instruments and join Helene Pohl from the New Zealand String Quartet and Suzuki-trained Michael Hill fellows and international competitors in an active session of music making. Repertoire will include the Bach Double Violin Concerto mvt 1, Dvořák Humoresque and selected pieces from Suzuki Books 1 & 2.
This FREE workshop will give young Suzuki students the chance to meet and chat with the advanced competitors and fellowship members participating in the Michael Hill International Violin Competition, who also began their musical training with the Suzuki method.
This event is FREE to attend, no ticket required.
