Our popular free days continue into August!!!This is the HQ of Lightspeed Saber League, the world's fastest light-based fencing. We're creating the next great weapon-based spectator sport. Will you join us and others around the world?
WHAT DOES IT ENTAIL?
Our typical class runs like this:
- Warmups
- Stretching
- Sparring and/or lesson of the day
- Friendly matches
- End of session strength & cardio training
Sessions occur in 3 phases:
1) Instruction (~80 minutes)
2) Open Practice (~40 minutes)
3) Strength & Cardio (20-60 minutes)
It is then open floor til close. Stay for as much or as little as you like.
WHO CAN COME?
Everyone is welcome but to participate you should be at least 10 years old. Adults are welcome. Beginners are welcome. Practitioners of other weapon arts, martial arts, or sports are welcome.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR OR BRING?
Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and shorts, joggers, tights, or anything you are comfortable exercising and sweating in. Please avoid jeans, baggy pants or shorts. Shorts or leggings highly recommended. If you have your own "lightsaber" you may bring it.
Equipment fee waived for first-time attendees.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Park outside the old Luxe Buffet. Enter the mall and go down the escalators then turn left. We'll be on the left.
