• 6/14: David Lawrence & The Spoonful

• • David Lawrence has called Colorado home for over a decade. Whether performing solo or with his full band, ‘The Spoonful,’ David brings a unique blend of finger-picking Delta blues, roots-Americana, soulful vocals, and his style of Gypsy-infused jazz guitar. In recent years, David has focused on his original sound & released a debut full length album produced by Banshee Tree frontman Thom LaFond. 'Lean In' received accolades on CPR, Westword Magazine, 303 Magazine, 5280, Rooster Magazine & plays on locals radio all over CO. A poet at heart, David’s original sound combines evocative imagery and storytelling with infectious melodies and rich, layered guitar playing. True to his musical roots, David’s music is raw, gritty, soulful, and full of heart.

• 7/12: Brianna Straut Band

• • Brianna Straut, Winner of the Americana/Roots category for the 2019 Westword Music Awards, is a true Colorado Gem. She is currently on tour playing the Folk Alliance Festival and is leading a powerhouse group for our concert series. Born and raised in Texas, Brianna sings from her roots, incorporating lamentations of lost love and soaring moments of hanging on to the good times into her bittersweet folk tunes. She’s been a member of Denver-based Americana outfits such as Bison Bone and Tomahawk Fox. More recently, Brianna has branched out on her own as a singer-songwriter with a voice that is as proud as the Rocky Mountains she now calls home.
