FREE Summer Parks Concert Series — Firestone Park Community Center

Join the ASO for the return of musical evenings on the lawn as they fill the parks with the sounds of classical masterpieces and favorites. Included this year are familiar greats like Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Scott Joplin, and Charles Ives. Also taking stage is Akron’s own vocal powerhouse Stephanie Childers-White alongside Gospel Meets Symphony Choirmaster Jonathon Turner for a selection of soulful pops, sure to impress with the power of the ASO behind them. Plus the return of the popular and cherished Soap Box Derby Rag by our own Eric Benjamin.
These concerts are entirely free to the public. Bring a blanket, a picnic, and the whole family!
