FREE Spring Cleanups for Low-Income Seniors and Veterans!Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is offering FREE Spring Cleanups for eligible seniors and veterans. On March 3rd from 9 AM - 1 PM, we’ll be at the Danbury Senior Center to answer questions and assist homeowners with registration.
To qualify, you must:
- Be a homeowner in one of the following CT towns:
Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, New Canaan, New Fairfield, New Milford, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, Washington, Wilton, Weston
- Have a household income of $72,000 or less (this includes income from pensions, 401ks, Social Security, etc.)
What to bring on Registration Day (March 3rd):
-Proof of Income: Last 2 months' bank statements or 2023 tax return
- Homeowner's Insurance: Copy of your current homeowner's insurance declaration
For privacy, please black out account numbers and Social Security numbers.
Once everything is completed and verified, a site visit will be scheduled, and from there, we will get your cleanup scheduled!
