As a part of the Auckland Climate Festival, Papaya Stories and Conscious Action invite to take part in a musical Silent Disco City Clean-up supported by Eke Panuku Development.All pickup rubbish essentials and headphones, grooves and moves will be provided by our team.
THIS CLEAN UP IS FULLY BOOKED OUT, so feel free to join an afternoon clean up or the join the waiting list.
Let’s show our love with action during the Silent Disco City Clean Up that takes place on Sat 22 October from
10.30am - 11.30am, followed by the guided meditation from 11.30am - 12pm.
Spaces are available to 25 people in a group. Online pre-booking is essential.

What is Silent Disco City Clean-Up?

We'll meet up at 10.20-10.30am at Silo Park for the meet & greet, health & safety briefing, headphones set up.
Then we offer you to tune into the natural habitat and also into one of the music channels:
Music channel #1 -themed festival playlist that resonates with the theme Ancestor, Me. It will include Maori, Pasifika and Polynesian songs about whakapapa, whanau and cultural responsibility
Music channel #2 - international world music mix that celebrates Nature, Environment, Care for the planet.
During an hour or so, we will walk, dance, sing along to great tunes (you can switch between 2 channels), and collect rubbish in the urban spaces around the Waterfront.
The clean up will be followed by a guided 20 min meditation that will be optional for participants to join. During the meditation we will connect to the voices of ancestral knowledge, gain the inner wisdom to plant the seeds for the future.
