Free Shred Event

Shred event will take place in the back parking lot of the Matthews Community Center.

9 am to 12pm.

The Town of Matthews and Record Storage Systems are hosting a FREE document shredding event to help residents and businesses safely and securely dispose of unwanted documents. Drop-off will be in the Matthews Community Center back parking lot.

This event is rain or shine.

Contactless Paper Shredding:

1. Place your boxes or bags of paper in the trunk of your car.

2. Remain in your vehicle.

3. Pop the trunk and our staff will unload your items for you.

4. Quick, easy, contactless service - and you'll be on your way!

Limitations:

• Limit of 4 bankers boxes
• Paperclips and staples ARE allowed
• NO metal or plastic allowed

Security:

Information security is our highest priority. Enjoy HIPAA-compliant document destruction. All records are securely destroyed inside of the local Record Storage Systems facility equipped with 24/7 security monitoring and video surveillance.
