The Levitt AMP Manchester Music Series continues on Thursday, September 3rd in Veterand Park with the grand finale of its inaugural season, featuring the New Orleans-inspired jazz of the Soggy Po’ Boys. The park opens at 5:00 p.m. with food trucks and family-friendly activities, followed by live music from 6:00–9:00 p.m. As always, the concert is FREE, all ages and open to everyone.
Based in New Hampshire’s Seacoast, the Soggy Po Boys have built a devoted following with their spirited take on the traditional jazz of New Orleans. Drawing inspiration from the music of Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Jelly Roll Morton and other early jazz greats, the band channels the energy and spontaneity of the Crescent City while bringing its own personality to every performance.
Since coming together in 2012, the Soggy Po Boys have become known for lively performances that blend traditional jazz, blues, spirituals, ragtime and New Orleans standards. With horns out front and a rhythm section built to swing, their shows capture the communal spirit of New Orleans music — joyful, improvisational and made to be experienced together.
Opening the evening is New Hampshire’s Cosmic Blossom, bringing their vibrant, genre-blending sound and homegrown energy to Veterans Park beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The September 3rd show marks the finale of the inaugural Levitt AMP Manchester Music Series, capping eight weeks of FREE, original live music in the heart of downtown Manchester. Throughout the summer, Veterans Memorial Park has welcomed artists from New Hampshire and across the country representing an eclectic range of genres, from blues, soul and funk to Bachata, bluegrass, Americana, hip-hop, classical fusion and New Orleans jazz.
The Levitt AMP Manchester Music Series is powered by the Levitt Family Foundation and produced locally by City Year New Hampshire in partnership with the City of Manchester, transforming Veterans Memorial Park into a vibrant community gathering place through free, high-quality original live music.
The 2026 Levitt AMP Manchester Music Series is supported locally by sponsors including the City of Manchester, Common Man Roadside, Stonyfield Organic, Delta Dental, Wind River Environmental, DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown, New Hampshire Public Radio, Events United, Win Studios, and Queen City Center.
Veterans Memorial Park opens at 5:00 p.m., giving attendees plenty of time to grab food, enjoy family-friendly activities and connect with community organizations before live music begins at 6:00 p.m. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets, invite family, friends and neighbors, and grab dinner from a downtown Manchester restaurant or one of the food vendors on site.
