Free Screening: Killing Poe Presented by Dr. Destruction’s Crimson Theater

Join us at The White Lilac for a free screening of Killing Poe, a darkly funny, strange little ride through the world of Edgar Allan Poe, bad academia, revenge, and macabre mischief. The film follows five students trapped in a class on Poe with one very difficult professor — until things take a turn and the students decide to give him a lesson of their own… in true Poe fashion.

And here’s the best part: Dr. Destruction actually has a bit role in the film, which makes this screening even more beautifully weird and wonderfully appropriate.

Presented by Dr. Destruction’s Crimson Theater, this will be a fun, spooky, offbeat night for lovers of horror, cult cinema, Poe, local oddities, and anyone who enjoys their comedy with a little raven perched on the shoulder.
