Free Screening: BPA FOUNDING FURTHER Doc & Mixer

Founding Further is a documentary film series that uplifts the stories of underrepresented Philadelphians who have contributed to the progress of our city and nation over the past 250 years. The films explore the lives and legacies of influential community leaders, entrepreneurs, scholars, and activists who fought for the promise of liberty and freedom for all, but whose stories have been omitted, obscured or erased. Produced by intergenerational teams of local filmmakers through the Big Picture Alliance, in partnership with historical institutions, scholars, and community organizations, the Founding Further series invites us to reclaim our collective past and reimagine our shared future. This public screening event will premiere five new films and feature a panel discussion with the filmmakers and partners.
