About this Event

STEAMVentures is a free, family-friendly outdoor event where children can explore science through creativity, hands-on discovery, and take-home projects. Designed for elementary-age children and their families, this interactive science fair features a variety of activity stations that combine art and science in fun and engaging ways.

Participants can create solar-powered animals that move in sunlight, uncover hidden messages using invisible ink, reveal colorful designs through scratch art, decorate lightning bugs, and explore other activities that demonstrate concepts such as light, energy, color, nature, and observation. Each station is designed to be completed in a short amount of time, allowing families to move at their own pace and visit as many activities as they like.

All materials are provided, and every activity is designed to be accessible, engaging, and suitable for a park setting.
