FREE RPG DAY @ LEVEL UP GAMES - DULUTH

Level Up Games is excited to be hosting another awesome Free RPG Day!

We will receive a treasure trove of new and exclusive RPG adventures, previews, and accessories to provide an uparalled day of roleplaying celebration. Full details on how you can obtain these items will be announced as we get closer to to the event date. We plan to bring back out Quest Card to give you multiple ways to unlock free items while checking out all festitivies.

One of those ways to earn goodies is to participate in one of the many events running across our stores. Below is a description of the events being ran at this location (please check the event location and title to ensure you are buying tickets for the correct store). More will be added as we confirm details so keep checking back!

• Dungeons and Dragons: Tales of Fang and Claw (12:00PM-4:00PM) - A reclusive patron of Candlekeep has passed away and the Avowed have asked you to travel to his mansion in the Wood of Sharp Teeth, where his servants wait to hand over his collection... what could possibly go wrong!

An adventure for 1st-4th level characters! If you are new to D&D or don't know how to play this is a perfect adventure for you!

• Dragonbane: The Sinking Tower (12:00PM-3:00PM) - The Sinking Tower is an official tournament adventure for the Dragonbane RPG. The players will need to work together to solve puzzles, win battles, and find valuable treasure – all in just two hours!

Dragonbane is a classic fantasy tabletop roleplaying game full of magic, mystery, and adventure.

• Humblewood: Shock in Stormcrag (5E) (1:00PM - 5:00PM) - Humblewood: Shock in Stormcrag is a thrilling 5e adventure that takes you deep into the Flashcrest caves to confront strange creatures and ancient misdeeds.
  Humblewood is a setting where everyone plays as birds or other woodland creatures. Everything you need to play will be provided, just bring yourselves!
  
• Delta Green - Operation: Stone Shores (1:00PM - 5:00PM) - Face esoteric and Lovecraftian horrors in the modern day with this exciting, contemporary take on Call of Cthulu, Delta Green!
  Become an agent of the now defunct government organization responsible for the raid on Innsmouth, Massachusetts and protect all you hold near and dear from That Which Man Was Not Meant to Know...at least, that would be if you were to stay within the bounds of Delta Green lore. But, limits are meant to be tested....
  You are an operative of MTF Gamma-4, also known as the Green Stags. Reports of anomalous activities have sprouted out of the western wilderness of North Dakota, and you are charged with diligently upholding the welfare of the greater public and secrecy from the many threats they would face if not for your noble efforts. Report to your overseer for briefing.
  Secure. Contain. Protect.
  
• Werewolf: The Apocalypse - "Red Tundra" (5:00PM - 8:00PM) - Werewolf: the Apocalypse is back in its 5th edition, full-color hardback! Your characters will still exist, chronicling their lives in the modern setting, the World of Darkness. In this edition, you are a new generation of Garou - a werewolf - and will be confronted with the forces of destruction, avarice, and greed ravaging the earth-mother, Gaia.
  Gaia is dying.
  The ices melt, while the seas swell.
  The heat rises, while the forests wither.
  The Apocalypse is here.
  When will you Rage?
  In this Free RPG Day event, "Red Tundra," you've been away from your home town for a few years and it feels good to be back visiting the old stomping grounds with your pack, meeting old friends. But all is not well. The very rich have a new hobby out here in the Canadian wilds: Shooting wolves from helicopters.
  You're Garou, werewolves and sworn protectors of the earth. You must protect your wolf cousins from this cruel sport!

Paizo Specific Events:

Quickfire Intro sessions of both Pathfinder and Starfinder will be firing off starting at 11:30AM and running until 1:00PM. These are meant to be 20 minute demos going over the basics of the game system. These will not require pre-registration and you'll be able to just walk up to join as space allows. Details of these events can be found below:
Pathfinder 20 minute Demo - Paragons of the Level-Up Guild

You are a Paragon of the Level-Up Guild, protecting a caravan of goods full of games and toys. A malovolent force seeks to steal them away - it is your job to stop the thieves.

An adventure for 1st Level Pathfinder 2e or 1e Characters, pregens will be provided. You can expect a couple of skill checks and a taste of combat. This content should be child appropriate.

Starfinder 20 minute demo - Paragons of Level-Up

Most perceive you as a mild mannered store employee of Level-Up Games. What they don't know is that dangers abound around the store when no customers are watching, and you reveal your powers as a Paragon of Level-Up to protect the store from these threats.

An adventure for 1st Level Starfinder 2e or 1e Characters, pregens will be provided. You can expect a couple of skill checks and a taste of combat. This content should be child appropriate. This will include content from the Starfinder Second Contact product included as part of Free RPG Day.

• Pathinder 2E: The Great Toy Heist - (1:00PM - 4:00PM) - There’s always someone up to no good in the Chelish capital of Egorian, and this time it hits a little too close to home! A corrupt banker discovered there was something magical about The Terrific Toyshop beyond just the magnificent creations within. Greedy and unprincipled, this wealthy noble found a loophole in the diabolically complicated laws of the city and exploited it to seize the deed to the toyshop and threaten to boot the toy maker and his lovely creations out on the streets. What are sentient toys to do in the face of such reprehensible actions? Break in and steal the deed back, of course!

In The Great Toy Heist, you take on the role of one of four unique poppets— living toys with strong wills of their own. While your gentle creator is beside himself with worry, you and your friends enact a risky plan to save your home and livelihoods with stealth, subterfuge, and no shortage of luck!

The Great Toy Heist is a short adventure for 2nd-level characters that gives players a chance to try out one of Golarion’s rare ancestries. This adventure takes a band of poppet heroes on a dangerous mission to prove themselves and save their home— the very place that gave them life! The four pregenerated characters also provide a quick way to jump right into this exciting Free RPG Day adventure! Grab your friends, grab some dice, and play the role of Golarion’s newest adorable heroes!

• Starfinder: Second Contact - Playtest Game - (1:00PM - 4:00PM) - Experience the evolution of the Starfinder roleplaying game with over a dozen iconic creatures fully compatible with the upcoming playtest and your existing Pathfinder roleplaying game campaigns!
  Paragons of Level-Up: Titanic Time Shenanigans - In the past, the location where Level-Up Games occupies was once owned by the Titan Gang. Things changed, and the once powerful gang has lost control of most of their territory. As a Paragon of Level-Up, you will help protect the store from the Titan Gang as they attempt to literally turn the clock back to restore their power and glory of the past.
  An adventure for 1st Level Starfinder 2e or 1e Characters, pregens will be provided. You can expect a couple of skill checks and a taste of combat. This content should be child appropriate. This will include content from the Starfinder Second Contact product included as part of Free RPG Day.

Cost: Events will have a charge of $5 for pre-registration. This fee will be given back as either a credit or gift card upon check-in to the event with the organizer.
