"What is Free RPG Day....?"Free RPG Day is a day for you to go to your local participating retailer to play new games and get free stuff!
There is a charge of £1 per game you want to play in, you can still get the free items with a purchase but priority goes to those taking part in the games on the day. We also have items from the last couple of years available.

In this roleplaying game of the dark, well, alternative near past of 2020, the party plays a team of corporate professionals working for the Night City branch of a multinational corporation. It's also that time of the year.

Root: The RPG is where you play vagabonds cast out from “civilised” society, now exploring throughout the woodland fulfilling jobs and having adventures. You’ll get into big fights and stage cunning heists. All whilst being a woodland creature!

Lex Arcana

Lex Arcana is a game set in a fantastical alternate history where the Roman Empire endures thanks to the use of divination rituals. The players take the roles of members of the Cohors Arcana, skilled individuals sent to investigate supernatural mysteries around the Empire. Your team has been sent to Gallia where a few towns are reporting strange phenomena alongside an increase in brigand activity. This threat stretches back centuries to Julius Caesar's Gallic Wars, but can the party solve it before it engulfs them and the region.

Ten years ago, the Tithraki came to Earth and all of Earth's superheroes and even super powered villains went to war to defend Earth. The war was brutal and ended with the death of all but one super hero, Champion, the greatest and most powerful hero, but his mind was broken by the horrors he had witnessed and so he left, never to return.
Over the next ten years with no superheroes the criminals went out of control, the cops couldn't cope and costumed vigilantes began to appear, these crime fighters had no superpowers but they had a heart full of rage and fists of fury, guns barking their desire for Vengeance upon the criminal scum.
An OSR game powered by a light weight version of Old school DnD called Vigilante hack, inspired by the Watchmen comics, movie and TV show,
Content warning, comic book style violence some graphic scenes , not suitable for children

Your task (and you will accept it) is to cheerfully go out and find trouble and shoot it. You're a troubleshooter! The only problem is that you are the trouble. Mutants are traitors (you are a mutant). Secret Society Members are traitors (you are a member) and you just volunteered to join the Troubleshooters (failure to volunteer is treason). Make Alpha Complex Great Again!!! A simple system, a trivial task and you can utterly trust the Computer.

Alice is Missing

"Alice is Missing is a silent role playing game about the disappearance of Alice Briarwood, a high school junior in the small town of Silent Falls. During the game, players only communicate using their phones, sending text messages to each other as they unearth clues about what happened to Alice."
TW/CW: Teens going missing, tense family dynamics, grief, death, violence, jealousy and helplessness.
4 slots - 90 minutes gameplay plus 30 minutes of worldbuilding/debrief, this would start at 4pm (or slightly later).
