The CART Fund (Colthalis Activities and Recreation Fund) was inspired during a climbing session at a gym, officially started when Steve hiked the entire 275 mile Long Trail in 2002, and has now come full circle by sponsoring a climbing event for TBI survivors. The fund was established to help individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) redefine themselves through engaging in various activities. Its focus was on three key goals: motivating others with TBIs, raising awareness about TBI, and creating a scholarship program. All of these goals have been successfully achieved. Through the fund, scholarships have been awarded for activities such as horseback riding lessons, kayak racing, and more, empowering survivors to explore new passions and build confidence.
Join us for a great afternoon at the rock climbing gym! Support people are welcome to come with you, however, climbing for this event is limited to only Survivors of brain injury. Support people (family, and friends) may be able to climb at the same time by purchasing tickets through Petra Cliffs. Please get in touch with them for more information.
