FREE REPAIRS AND SHARPENING AT BIRCHWOOD REPAIR CAFE

Got something that’s stopped working or needs a bit of attention? Bring it along to Birchwood Repair Café and our friendly volunteers will try to fix it - completely free of charge.
We repair all sorts of things, including small electrical appliances, household accessories, bikes, clothes, small items of furniture, soft furnishings, sewing machines, gadgets, toys and software problems on your phone or tablet. We also offer a free sharpening service, providing our sharpening volunteers are available on the day.
You don’t need to know what’s wrong with the item you bring in - or anything about repairing, for that matter. We’ll help you check in when you arrive, then you’ll sit with one of our repairers while they take a look at your item and try to fix it. And don't forget to treat yourself to a slice of delicious home-made cake from our pop-up cafe!
