FREE Rain Barrel Workshop — Build It. Take It Home.

Join City Utilities’ Catching Rain Team for a free hands-on workshop where you’ll build your own rain barrel—and take it home the same day. Use captured rain to water your plants, save on your water bill, and help reduce stormwater runoff that flows into our rivers. It’s a simple step at home that helps protect our watershed.

This make-it-and-take-it workshop is part of Earth Day Fort Wayne, sponsored by Little Rivers Wetlands Project. Space is limited to just five participants per session, with two sessions available on April 19. City Utilities’ staff will have tools to help you put together your rain barrel and will guide you step-by-step to completion. Sign up, build your barrel, and help protect our rivers.
