Music Remembrance Jazz Quintet
The Music Remembrance Jazz Quintet has been performing for concerts, jazz clubs and private and corporate events and jazz festivals including the New Smyrna Jazz Festival, Images Festival and Avalon Park Jazz Fest. since 1990 in Florida. They perform a mix of jazz music including standards, Latin jazz, fusion and dixieland and tailor concerts for each audience. The members of the Music Remembrance Jazz Quintet are professional musicians that perform for Orlando Theme Parks. Leader/trombonist/vocalist Andrea Rowlison was the first female trombonist to perform with the Guy Lombardo Orchestra, Harry James Orchestra and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and has performed at Lincoln Center with Sam Rivers and on the Today Show with the Universal Studios Band. Our guitarist is the jazz guitar professor at the University of Central Florida and our multi grammy award winning bassist is a long time musician for Disney. Our drummer is the music director for Holy Family Catholic Church and his wife Danielle is the cantor and our vocalist. Some of the artists different members of the Music Remembrance Trio have performed with are Dizzy Gillespie, Nancy Wilson, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Ray Charles, Tito Puente, Sam Rivers, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Lou Donaldson, Larry Coryell, Kenny Drew Jr., Chris Potter, Carl Fontana, Bill Watrous, Louis Bellson, Kenny Drew, Jr., Mills Brothers, The Fifth Dimension, O’Jays, Temptations, Four Tops, Englebert Humperdink, Barry Manilow, Shirley Jones, Joe Piscopo, Percy Sledge and The Supremes.
