In partnership with Chandler’s Ford and Eastleigh Solent Free Prom Dress Hire ServiceWe are proud to be partnering with Rosemary Duffy, founder of the Chandler’s Ford and Eastleigh Solent Free Prom Dress Hire Service this Spring.
This inspiring non-profit initiative lends donated prom dresses to young people from disadvantaged families, ensuring that everyone can feel confident and included on a night that is a right of passage for young people.
Across four dates in 2026, The Point will welcome young people and their families into the Studio Theatre to browse and try on a wide range of beautiful prom dresses. With more than 100 gowns generously donated by the community, Rosemary and her team offer a warm, welcoming environment where visitors can find and secure their perfect dress, entirely free of charge.
The sessions are also suitable for those who may find traditional prom dress shopping too overwhelming and need some additional support.
