The Pinball Lounge will be hosting the 2021 Free Play Florida Pinball Championship on November 19, 20, and 21.There will be four pinball tournaments in the event. A main tournament played on a mix of machines from all eras, a classics tournament played on electromechanical machines and solid state electronic machines made before 1989, a womens tournament played on machines from all eras, and a social three strikes tournament.
The tournament will be directed by The Pinball Lounge’s resident tournament director Randy Parsons and he will be assisted by The Pinball Lounge owners Ed Klamp and Kurt van Zyl as well as Louis Marino and Kyndall Solien. The tournament will be streamed on Twitch.
The Pinball Lounge is a pinball only arcade located inside Oviedo Bowling Center in Oviedo Florida. Founded in 2015, it houses Central Florida’s largest collection of well maintained pinball machines.
Returning to Central Florida after a one year hiatus, fan favorite gaming expo Free Play Florida will return once more to the Caribe Royale Orlando Resort featuring an exciting and immersive new “Back to the Mall” theme that is sure to energize and delight attendees as it transports them back to the arcades and food courts of the 1980’s!
The convention, which features hundreds of the most popular arcade cabinets, pinball machines, consoles and retro games of all time as well as celebrity guests and competitive gamers, once again delivers a weekend of affordable fun for game loving visitors of all ages. Returning for 2021 are several popular veteran guests of the event (the largest of its kind in Florida), as well as several new guests sure to please any gaming enthusiasts who attend.
