Tuesday, September 23 – Potty Training 101 with Judy Coucouvanis, Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
This workshop provides a systematic and comprehensive approach to toilet mastery. Participants will learn the essential elements to designing and implementing a successful toileting program: 1.) Determining readiness 2.) Setting up the bathroom 3.) Developing a toileting schedule 4.) Recording and monitoring progress 5.) Building Motivation 6.) Overcoming Obstacles
Using extensive examples from clinical experience and a wealth of practical information, this workshop will give parents and others the preparation they need to embark on the toileting journey for children of all developmental levels.
Judy has 40 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatric mental health nursing. She is an award-winning author and national speaker in the areas of autism spectrum disorders, behavior intervention, social skills training, and toileting.
