FREE Packapalooza NC State Treasure Hunt - Walking Team Scavenger Hunt

Packapalooza NC State Treasure Hunt Information - Hillsborough St.

Explore NC State's main campus on the FREE treasure hunt during Packapalooza, NC State's largest Wolfpack Welcome Week event. The street festival and treasure hunt are both open to everyone.

Participants will meet at the Triangle Treasure Hunt tent on Hillsborough St. near the Packapalooza Information Tent at the intersection of Hillsborough St. and Horne St. Teams will download the Xplorer app and set off on a mobile scavenger hunt through NC State's main campus where they will find clues and solve puzzles.

Each finishing team will be entered in a drawing to win one of the following grand prizes:

- $50 Wolfpack Outfitters Gift Card

- 4 Triangle Treasure Hunt Tickets

- And More!

The hunt involves walking a distance of up to 1.5 miles in total and will take place rain or shine, so long as the weather does not become dangerous. Teams can start the hunt anytime after 2pm and have until 7:30 p.m. to complete the treasure hunt.

We (Ben and Whitney) got the idea for Triangle Treasure Hunt in 2018 after a trip to Florence, Italy where we got engaged at the end of a smilar scavenger hunt activity. We have been creating treasure hunts in the Triangle area ever since! Currently, we offer treasure hunts in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, and Wendell with more locations to come!
