Hi, I'm Vickie and I'm an outdoor group leader, particularly keen to share the positive impact spending time outdoors can have on your mental and physical wellbeing. I have recently set up Held In Nature CIC to start a group for residents in Portslade, Mile Oak and the surrounding area.

I am looking for people to attend my free outdoor wellbeing group taster sessions at Easthill Park, Portslade, in return for feedback at the end of the session. The session will provide you with a grounding practice, some mindful nature connection activities, and the chance to meet new people in a local green space which we will explore together.

Spaces are limited and priority is given to council residents due to the criteria of the funding I am applying for. More than happy for others to join us and it isn't exclusively just for council residents so please get in touch before booking. Booking is essential due to limited spaces.

The tasters sessions will provide an idea of what activities will be available during the six week course I am planning on delivering if successful with our funding application. The six week course will be for those experiencing social isolation, mental health issues, caring responsibilities or financial hardship residing in BN41 area of the city.
